Sunny weekend"
I think you are the first person I have known from your beautiful country. Nice to meet you! I should have mentioned I am from the United States. I watch Premiere soccer so was watching England. I do watch many of the World Cup qualifying rounds and always watch the finals. |

Haha, well the reason we moved the sleeping arrangements is we only have three bedrooms and I wander usually between two of them! That’s because of my recent op and being unsettled and being generally a poor sleeper and my habit of reading in the middle of the night. So it was decided I’d have a room of my own and the visitors could have the master room.
It’s working out reasonably well so far. |

Oh that sounds really hard. Wishing you a big hug!
And... nosy part of me wants to know why you and your husband gave up your room? Could they not have taken separate rooms instead of splitting you up? You don't have to answer, of course. I would never have kicked my mother out of her room. I just can't imagine, unless there was some medical need or something? |

July"
Hi, Lyn thank you for the birthday wishes. No it’s nowhere near as cold in Winter here as in England. Up in the hills where we are we can get the occasional frost but it’s rare. A really cold day is when the temperature doesn’t rise above 13 centigrade. |

Youth and Summers"
Finding joy in any moment works. I'm sorry you felt alone. Me on the other hand longed to be alone, I always had to babysit my siblings. |

Wow, this is an interesting read. You were very fortunate to have exposure to art. I hope you're still painting. |

Plumbing Issues Solved"
Ahhhh. The wonders of the modern world . Isn't it funny how we take things like electricity and plumbing for granted... until we don't have them. Happy for you! |

Thunderstorms, Bloggers and keep the faith y'all 😁🙏!"
Yeah. I understand the living on a fixed income part. I get help but even that makes me feel stuck but at least i can pay my bills every month, although some months are harder than others when insurance costs are due, etc.
I blame most of it on the economy. But when people get to retirement age after feeding into the syatem, an average person can't keep up without extra help. These are soppose to be the golden years. |

July"
Happy Early Birthday, Sue. That's really cool you've had the opportunity to enjoy July in two different hemispheres. Is it as cold as a Northern Hemisphere winter? I know winters in Maine below zero Fahrenheit was a norm for the winter. Here in the desert, in the teens happens just not for very long. |

Health Topic - Drink your Greens! "
I do. Although, I do not make the drinks myself. I go to tropical smoothie for that. At times past I made smoothies at home but, way to cumbersome for me. Instead, I started eating more greens, mostly collards, spinach and kale. And mostly as salads. These three are the highest in antioxidants. Sometimes I briefly "scorch" them in olive oil or butter with onions. But be careful of the heat. High temperatures damage the health effects, which is why microwave cooking is not recommended for the greens.
The, Avocolada with fresh ginger added and the Chia Banana Boost with strawberry are my two favorite smoothies!
And I do drink V8 as well. |

The hair looks fabulous! I'm thinking of chopping all of mine off too. With all this heat, I can't stand it on my neck and am tired of ponytails.
Hoping your appointment next week goes well and you get some encouraging news. |
